The Cellar Selection Sauvignon Blanc is grown on a variety of soil types in Marlborough’s Wairau and Awatere valleys. Gravels provide tropical flavours, clay loams produce citrus notes and deep silty soils lift the aromatic quality of this wine while contributing weight and texture to the palate.
After harvest at optimum ripeness, grapes were destemmed and gently pressed, then fermented cool in stainless steel tanks to retain their natural fruit exuberance. The range of vineyards available to us allows us to build a wine showcasing the full range of flavours Marlborough has to offer and a palate with weight, depth and length.
