Appearance: Deep ruby color.
Aroma: The nose presents a bouquet of cherry, blueberry, and subtle herbal notes, complemented by hints of spice and oak.
Palate: On the palate, it features bright acidity balanced with rounded tannins, offering flavors of red fruits and a touch of pepper. The finish is elegant and persistent.

 

 

Pierre Girardin is a young representative of the 13th generation of the Girardin family of winemakers. He grew up training at his father's winery, Vincent Girardin , from a very young age. His best childhood memories are of chasing tractors through the vineyards and being near barrels when his father worked. Simply put, winemaking is in his blood. When Vincent Girardin sold his estate in 2011, he made sure to keep 4.5 hectares of his best plots for his son. In 2017, Pierre created his first wine, establishing himself as Burgundy's rising talent. His father's extensive contacts in Burgundy allowed Pierre to expand his vineyards through long-term contracts with leading producers who appreciated his ""meticulous"" approach to viticulture. Today, Pierre owns such rare plots as Puligny Folatieres, Volnay Clos des Chenes, Pommard Epenots, Corton-Charlemagne and even Montrachet, and Pierre himself is the proud owner of the farm of the same name - Domaine Pierre Girardin.

 

To create refined white wines, Pierre ordered 456-liter barrels from François Frere to reduce the influence of new wood. As for red wines, they are all produced with an eye to elegance and silkiness, preserving the extraordinary characteristics of the terroir with which Pierre works. Wine critics appreciated even the very first vintage of Pierre, which testifies to the true natural talent and, of course, to the great skill of Pierre.
