Description:
The 2017 Gevrey-Chambertin Village has a clean blackberry, raspberry and iodine bouquet that has purity and charm. The juicy, forward palate is rounded and supple on the entry, displaying fine acidity and a soft landing on the finish. Built to be enjoyed in its youth.
A cool and more reticent nose reluctantly offers up its array of pretty red currant and pungent earth scents that can also be found on the sleek, intense and vibrant middle weight flavors that possess good delineation on the balanced, delicious and refreshing finish. This isn't especially dense but it is attractive in its fashion anyway.
